What is it? What a company is really worth. To determine it, investors analyze a number of business fundamentals, including earnings, revenues, and assets. A companys intrinsic value is usually higher than its liquidation value, which is what a company would be worth if it were broken up and sold today. The liquidation value doesnt include such intangibles as the value of a brand name and often doesnt reflect the true value of assets, such as real estate, that are carried on the balance sheet.Added By: Maya
