Limit
What is it? The maximum amount a policy will pay for a covered loss. For example, if you have a $5,000 loss and the limit on your policy is $3,000, then the insurance company will only pay $3,000. If you have a $3,000 loss and the policy limit is $5,000, the company pays the entire $3,000.Added By: Amelia
