Mid-Cap Growth Fund
What is it? A mutual fund that invests in mid-sized companies with good growth prospects. According to Morningstar, mid-cap funds invest in companies with market capitalizations between $2 billion and $11 billion. Other organizations may use different definitions. Income from dividends usually is not a goal of these funds. Growth funds often have high P/E ratios because managers are willing to pay a premium for stocks of fast-growing companies.Added By: Ethan
