Open-end Fund
What is it? The most typical type of mutual fund, with the number of shares available to investors limited only by the fund managers discretion and the amount of money coming in to the fund from investors. You buy and sell open-end mutual funds directly through mutual fund companies (or through brokers), unlike closed-end mutual funds, which you buy and sell like a stock, through an Exchange.Added By: Christian
