Property Damage

What is it? Property damage liability is insurance coverage that pays to repair or replace other peoples property that has been damaged by you or someone else who is covered in your policy. Keep in mind, property damage liability coverage does not pay for damage to your vehicles. Liability (BI) and property damage (PD) together are often referred to simply as liability insurance. Most state laws require that all drivers carry liability insurance or offer other proof that they are financially able to pay any damages for which they might be found liable.
