What is it? A common way to group a broad array of companies that are in the same line of business. Within a sector you can have many industries. And each industry consists of well-defined industry groups. For example, Technology is a sector. Internet is an industry subset of Technology, and Internet Service Providers is a specific industry group within the Internet category.
